Why Landfill Leachate Requires a Customized Treatment Process

Landfill leachate forms when rainwater, waste moisture and decomposition liquids pass through municipal or industrial solid waste.

STRO can be considered for high-fouling wastewater where a more open membrane flow path is required. Conventional spiral-wound RO may be used when pretreatment provides suitable and stable membrane-feed quality.

Projects requiring lower liquid-disposal volume or further treatment of membrane concentrate.
