Because the system is fully pre-assembled and factory-tested, on-site work is limited to positioning the container on level ground and connecting three points: seawater intake, power supply, and product water outlet. 2. Can the system run on solar power?
Absolutely. Our systems are solar-ready and can be configured with PV panels, battery storage, and an intelligent energy management system. This is especially valuable for remote islands where diesel is expensive to transport or where grid power is unavailable or unreliable. Solar configuration reduces operating costs and supports green tourism and sustainability goals.
3. Is the system too noisy for a resort environment?
No. Our systems are equipped with a low-noise acoustic enclosure as standard, keeping operational noise at ≤ 75 dB(A) at 1 meter — comparable to normal conversation levels. For resorts with strict noise requirements, we can provide enhanced soundproofing and vibration-dampening mounts to ensure zero disturbance to guests.

We also offer systems with dual-train configurations that provide redundancy — if one train requires maintenance, the other continues producing water.

Yes. All systems are constructed with corrosion-resistant materials — 316L stainless steel piping, FRP membrane housings, and marine-grade coatings. Yes. While we offer premium Chinese membranes and pumps that deliver excellent performance, we also offer upgrade options including DuPont FilmTec™ SWRO membranes and Danfoss APP high-pressure pumps. 7. What is the lifespan of the system? When do membranes need replacement?
The overall system is designed for a service life of 15–20 years with proper maintenance. SWRO membrane elements typically require replacement every 3–5 years, depending on feed water quality and operating conditions. All components are designed for easy access and field replacement, even in remote island locations with limited technical support.
8. Do I need a specialized operator to run the system?
No. The system is fully automated with an intuitive PLC + HMI touchscreen interface. Operators with basic training can start, stop, and monitor the system easily. For remote islands, we provide operation manuals, startup checklists, and remote troubleshooting support via video call or data link.
9. How is the system maintained for remote island operations?
